
1 c chopped pecans
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 pkg vanilla instant pudding 1 3/4 oz.
4 large eggs
1/2 c cold water
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/2 c Irish Whiskey or other whiskey
Glaze
1/4 pound butter
1/4 c water
1 c sugar
1/4 whiskey
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts in bottom of pan.
Mix together all cake ingredients. Cook for around one hour. Cool completely and invert on serving plate.
Prick cake and brush with glaze repeating until all of glaze is completely absorbed.
Glaze: melt butter in small saucepan. Stir in water and sugar. Bring to boil and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in whiskey
