Chicken roll ups

2/3 C crushed herb croutons (set aside)

6 T. melted butter (set aside(

2 pkgs gravy mix for chicken

4 (3oz) pkgs chive cream cheese (softened)

2 C. diced cooked chicken or turkey’2 cans crescent dinner rolls

1 t. pepper

1 can sliced mushrooms

1 T. chopped chives

4 T. butter, softened


Cream butter, cream cheese and pepper. Mix well. Stir in chicken, mushrooms and chives. Spread each crescent roll with ¼ cup chicken mixture. Roll up. Tuck sides under to seal completely. Sip in melted butter, then in crushed croutons. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 25 minutes, Serve with gravy poured over baked pieces.
